“Our children can walk two streets from our house to enjoy the company of their grandmother. The difficult decision is to decide whose front porch we should sit on! Norton Commons provides us all with a sense of connection at the level each of us desires. It is a neighborhood where we are watching out for each other and our children, and it has given us an opportunity for us to have our family nearby. After living in Norton Commons for two years in a brand new house with the character of an old house, the Hollander Family agrees… it does “take a village to raise a child” and it sure is fun living in a place “where everyone knows your name”.
